This MONSOON avail HUGE DISCOUNTS on this 4X4 SUV!

In the Indian Automobile Sector, looking for an entry level four-wheel-drive car basically meant either buying the Mahindra Thar or the Scorpio-N. Though there are many options available, they do become pricey once that 4X4 badge is put onto the car. All was going fine with Mahindra but when Maruti Suzuki launched their new four-wheel-drive car The Jimny, things started to change, but for whom?

THE MARUTI SUZUKI JIMNY

Launched in June 2023, the new Maruti Suzuki Jimny was all set to compete with the 4X4 giants in the segment. It offered a 1.5L 4 cylinder Engine producing 103.39bhp and 134.2nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed Manual and a 4-speed Automatic gearbox. The car was much smaller in comparison to its rival, the Mahindra Thar. Although the 4X4 drivetrain was made available even in the base variants, Maruti Suzuki’s one mistake led to the poor sales of the Jimny.

Maruti Suzuki priced the Jimny at a premium that left the people baffled. The starting price of the Jimny was ₹12.74 Lacs (ex-showroom) to ₹15.05 Lacs (ex-showroom). During that year, the Thar used to cost us ₹11.35 Lacs (ex-showroom) to ₹17.60 Lacs (ex-showroom). This made the Jimny more expensive than the already well renowned Thar.

To correct themselves, Maruti Suzuki kept offering various discounts to clear out the units, but still, Jimny was the least selling car of the company. 

This monsoon, once again Maruti Suzuki has come up with heavy discounts on the Jimny. We will tell you exactly how you can avail these discounts and come home in a New Jimny.

Last month, Maruti Suzuki was offering up to ₹1.5 Lacs of discount on the Jimny, this time they have increased it to a whopping ₹2.85 Lacs. Alpha, the top model of the car now gets a maximum discount of ₹2.5 Lacs, do note that the offer is available for both the Manual as well as the Automatic Transmission. Depending on the dealership and mode of purchase, the discount could vary.

Maruti Suzuki is offering a cash discount of ₹1 Lac rupees on the Jimny. On top of that if you choose to finance the car through Maruti’s own Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance, then you become eligible for an additional discount of ₹1.5 Lacs. This brings the total discount available on the car to ₹2.5 Lacs. Furthermore, many dealerships are offering discounts on insurance that would bring the total now to a massive ₹2.85 Lacs.

Thar or Jimny debate would keep going on and on, but it is you who will decide which car would be best suited for you and will fulfill your needs. Though both of them offer modern features and design, the cars have their unique charm which is going to appeal to different types of consumers.
